Jack & Kelvin's Story: Engagement Photography in Greenwich

An Engagement Photography Session in Sunny Greenwich Park

As Jack & Kelvin’s wedding was booked at the Trafalgar Tavern, it made perfect sense to choose Greenwich Park for their pre-wedding shoot, a place they know and love. It was one of those London super-hot days that we all long for but can’t quite cope with when it happens. But we powered through with shade-hopping and plenty of laughter. Their relaxed energy made the whole session a joy, fun and full of personality.

Jack & Kelvin have very different in styles but completely in sync. From chilled strolls through tree-lined paths to bursts of laughter, this shoot captured their dynamic perfectly. I kept things low-key, going to a few of their favourite spots, dodging tourists soaking up the summer sunshine in the park.

As a North London-based LGBTQ+ wedding photographer, I don’t often get to do engagement photography in Greenwich, so it was brilliant to explore a new part of the city. Even better was experiencing it through Jack & Kelvin’s eyes, as they showed me the places that mattered to them most. I’m looking forward to photographing their Trafalgar Tavern wedding next month and if this shoot is anything to go by, it’s going to be relaxed and stunning day.
