I had the privilege of creating documentary-style photography at Aurora Meldreth School and Care Home in Cambridgeshire, a specialist environment supporting children and young people with physical disabilities and complex learning needs. The atmosphere at Aurora Meldreth Manor is calm, respectful, and deeply caring, and my aim was to capture authentic moments that reflect this nurturing ethos. From staff-student interactions to quiet moments of focus and joy, the photographs showcase the school’s values and impact. These images are now used across the Aurora website, social media, and marketing, helping communicate their mission with honesty and humanity.
